Re: OT: Deadwood HBO Series

Wife bought me all three seasons on DVD. Think I'll keep her. One of the best westerns ever made. Heard an interview some time ago on the radio with one of producers. Said that the show was too expensive to make and there was no chance of HBO doing more seasons.

Re: OT--What gun has been most reliable for you?

Interesting topic. I have not had any serious trouble with any of the firearms I own. The two guns that I have that I could consider "most reliable" are the two with the most rounds fired. first is a Ruger 10/22 that I bought new in 1974. Untold thousands of rounds run through it. The seco...

Just watched both in the last two weeks. For the most part I liked the new version just a little bit better. The big issue I have with the J.W. version is Glenn Campbell. The guy just grates on me. The only thing I didn't like about the remake was the very end. It just seemed to me that it was a hur...

Really? These idjits carry guns? Makes you wonder where the ricochets ended up. There is no level of re-training available to address the issues these officers demonstrated. I wonder if they have the smarts to become meter maids. In the words of Barney Fife, "You've got to nip in the bu...

You've got a good start there. What did your patches look like? Did they burn through or were they hard to load? with a .010 patch I would think they loaded easy even in a fouled bore. I have two .54's and they both like different powders and projectiles. Both of my .54's prefer a .015 pillow tickin...

No Thanks!!!!

Without a knife or to you can't butcher the game you kill, and without an ace you can't build a Winter shelter, and ood cutting would be a eal pain.
A pack horse would be mighty useful as well.

My first thoughts exactly. Is a knife and axe equipment or weapon?
