I own both. Get the 870. It field strips easier with less parts. It's a tougher gun. There are you-tube videos on field stripping both shotguns.

Very nice set up you have there. Not having any experience with the Bushnell 3200, how do they hold up in the long run? i have the same set up but with the Leupold VX-1. Have over 2500 rds. fired with this scope and no trouble of any kind.

In a word, balance. Although I prefer the Marlins over Winchesters, to me the Winchesters carry and handle better. Not that I'd turn down a good deal on a Winchester, mind you. I've own/owned several of both.
